INTEGRATED GP & FOUNDER Dr Ben Sinclair MBChB MRCGP

Dr Sinclair studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Leeds then undertook GP training in Yorkshire. He attained membership of the Royal College of General Practice in 2007.

After 11 years studying it was time for a sabbatical, travelling with his wife in Asia and the Antipodes, spending time in Northern Cambodia as Medical Director with a local charity, delivering mobile primary care services and health training to remote jungle villages.

On return to the UK he developed an interesting portfolio of work including community and emergency GP posts, teaching GP Trainees, Nurse Practitioners and Medical Students; all the while developing an interest in Men’s Health and writing for several national health publications and blogs.

He founded Sinclair Health Limited in 2009, as an innovative health consultancy, aimed at improving access to healthcare for hard to reach groups such as working age men. In 2011, Sinclair Health began offering mobile health screening and promotion to corporate clients who wished to improve access to high quality convenient healthcare, supported by proprietary cloud-based software.
At the same time, he gained an interest in Secure Environment Medicine, taking up senior clinician roles in Prison Healthcare to guide and improve services using remote technology.

After a brush with cancer he recovered from malignant melanoma and resumed work carving out an interest in pain management and medication abuse, becoming a well-known lecturer on this niche subject, working with NHS England and the Royal College of General Practice, contributing to national prescribing guidance and frameworks for pain management.

He is an advocate for integrated multidisciplinary care pathways including the psycho-spiritual aspects of medicine. He continues to train prescribers in the art of managing complex consultations and pain management techniques in prison populations and is medical lead for the midlands prison cluster.

In 2015 he co-founded his first private GP practise in Yorkshire. Moving south for family reasons he choose Birmingham as his UK base of operations, first launching Optimise Health Clinic serving the city center, then Dr Finlays Private Practice offering online private health services and home visiting.

Dr Sinclair loves spending time with his wife and family in their local community, running in the woods, enjoying outdoor pursuits and experiencing adventures through travel, food, language and cultural exchange. He aims to live life to the full.

LIFE COACH Dani Grieveson

“Developing leaders provides real fulfilment for me through knowing I’ve strengthened and enhanced another life.
This drive for development of others comes from a personal experience years ago. A close friend took his life and I was the last he reached out to. This lives with me today and his legacy is for me to truly make an impact in the lives of those I meet and work with. While working with dynamic companies has given me wonderful work and leadership experience, true meaning for me, comes not from being attached to a brand but in my work as a coach, creating significant and meaningful transformation.”

Having enjoyed a career with Top Gear, Coca-Cola, Lord March at Goodwood Estate, Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, my experience of leadership and successful organisations provides knowledge and understanding to enhance you and your team.
Working in a family business, I spent 6 years coaching successful sales and marketing performance. My work hones my top strength, developer. This means developing people and performance is what I do best. From 2019, I lecture in the field of coaching and guest lecture at Cranfield University on the Defence Leadership MSc.

In my spare time, I enjoy stand-up comedy, exploring the outdoors, teaching yoga and supporting a mental health trust. In 2018 I was guest on a panel of Women in the Automotive Industry at a conference to attract and support more women into industry.

Work with me and together, we’ll lift your life..
